A woman’s head rises out of a black spotted vase, eyes closed, her skin made of purple cowrie shells and her hair in thick cornrows. Bowls, pots and vases gather around her, and behind them green banana leaves curl up to big bunches of ripe yellow bananas. It’s the work of Yeko, a Ugandan artist.
It’s printed on thick, off-white matte paper, acid-free and archival, so it holds up for years without yellowing. It comes unframed from A4 up to A1, small enough to lean on a kitchen shelf or big enough to fill a wall on its own. It’s also available framed.
Yeko draws each design by hand in fine line, then scans the drawing and colours it digitally.
Your print is made to order by our print partner on 250 gsm uncoated paper of museum quality, from FSC-certified stock.

Hang it out of direct sunlight, which fades printed colour over time, and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms, where paper can buckle.
Everything we sell is made by hand, so colour, pattern, size, and shape vary a little from piece to piece. That’s a normal part of the craft.
