Guide framed art print

A figure with closed eyes stands atop a three-legged pedestal, holding a large feather, a dish of cowrie shells at their feet. The background is filled with bold pattern: waves, dots, arches and zigzags in purple, green, orange and brown. It’s the work of Yeko, a Ugandan artist.

It comes in a pine frame in black, white, natural or dark wood, behind shatterproof plexiglass. Plexiglass is lighter than glass and won’t break into shards, so it’s a good choice above a bed or in a child’s room. Choose it ready to hang, or unassembled if you’d like to put it together yourself. Sizes run from A4 to 50 × 70 cm.

Yeko draws each design by hand in fine line, then scans the drawing and colours it digitally.

Your print is made to order by our print partner on 250 gsm uncoated matte paper of museum quality: off-white, archival and acid-free, from FSC-certified stock. The frame is 20 to 25 mm thick and 10 to 14 mm wide, and the plexiglass is clear. The hanging hardware is included and lets the frame hang either upright or sideways.

For indoor use only. Dust the frame and plexiglass with a soft, dry cloth. Skip glass cleaner and paper towels, which can cloud and scratch plexiglass. Hang it out of direct sunlight, which fades printed colour, and away from bathrooms and other damp rooms.
